Esports In Education Foundation is a nonprofit entity formed to serve local youth. Utilizing Esports as a conduit to explore S.T.E.A.M. based career opportunities and higher education, we wish to expand the view of Esports as an industry. Our goal is to provide young adults with opportunities to pursue future career paths through internships and scholarships to higher educational facilities
We believe that traditional intermural programs in education are leaving a large population of young adults underserved. By providing these youths with an opportunity to create a community of likeminded individuals, we hope to cultivate new leaders for the next generation. The utilization of communication, problem solving, and leadership are just as integral in Esports as they are in traditional sports.
Through raising awareness of Esports as an industry, we want to facilitate the growth of local talent in fields such as: game design, graphic design, web development, broadcast production, information technology, computer science, cyber security, computer graphics, and animation. Those students who do not wish to compete, but still want to be a part of this community will be enabled to support the program as content creators, game casters, referees, and designers.
EIEF program activities are currently conducted in San Antonio, Texas through the following programming:
Program Title: Scholarships Through Competition

The current program participants are young adults of all genders aged 18 to 25 who are currently attending college and pursuing a career in one of the career fields related to Esports.
